Greetings Researchers!
I am the new Pondera County Coordinator and I
hope to make this site a valuable source for your
Pondera County genealogy. I also host the
Glacier County web site which made sense since the
residents of both counties went back and forth quite
frequently. You will find that I am attempting
to accumulate Pondera data from before it was
Pondera county. Since the county was not
formed until 1919 but populated well before that, I
believe it prudent to extract as much data as
possible for persons who resided in the area that
would become Pondera County. If you have
anything from your family files to help me that
goal, please let me know. It is with your help
that this site will grow and prosper. Email me
